ALTERNATIVE RECORDING ARTIST JENNIFER HOPE
TO RELEASE NEW COVER SINGLE
Indie Artist Takes On Her First Duet And Brings A New Perspective to Evanescence’s “Bring Me To Life”
Los Angeles, CA (Tuesday, January 12, 2016) Alternative recording artist Jennifer Hope, is set to release her new cover single “Bring Me To Life”, Friday, February 5th. The single will be available at all major digital music outlets including iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Apple Music.
The track was produced by Jennifer Hope and European Producer, Pete Strobl, mixed by Multi-Platinum Producer and Mixer, Warren Huart (The Fray, James Blunt, Aerosmith) and features guest vocals by Singer/Songwriter, Christopher Webb.
Taking on such an iconic song was no easy feat but Jennifer wanted to cover a song by a female artist, who like Hope, is more involved in the writing process and composes her own songs on the piano. Jennifer chose not to alter her version significantly, rather adding some aspects typical of her unconventional style; a descending modulation, an atmospheric sound combined with dark, edgy elements and a mix of ethereal and alternative rock vocals.
The result is a slow/mid tempo, dynamic track with bass and drum driven choruses and an interpretive array of vocal intrigue.
